The First Look
We begin with a style-led conversation, exploring paper stocks, colour palettes, textures and printing methods always considering your venue, styling and overall aesthetic.
We’ll discuss key design elements such as monograms, illustration or typography. You don’t need to have everything figured out - guidance and creative direction are part of the process.
-
Based on your quantities, design features and finishes, you’ll receive a tailored estimate outlining each component of your stationery suite with clarity and transparency.
-
A 50% deposit secures your place in the design schedule.
You’ll receive a text template for each stationery element, along with a proposed design timeline. Timely communication ensures the process flows smoothly from start to finish.
-
With your direction defined, we move into the design phase.
You’ll receive thoughtfully developed design drafts that reflect the feeling of your day, incorporating material concepts and printing methods that bring depth and texture to the suite.
-
We refine the initial concepts, adjusting layout, wording and design details to ensure everything feels balanced, cohesive and true to your vision.
-
A final pre-production proof confirms all design details, colours, materials, finishes and quantities.
Final quantities are approved and the remaining balance is settled before artwork is released for production. All stationery is assembled and dispatched via a fully insured, tracked courier.

FAQs
-
As a guide, Save the Dates are typically sent 8- 12 months before the wedding. The main invitation suire is usually sent 3–6 months before your wedding day.
Beginning early allows space for creativity, and for everything to unfold with ease. We recommend reaching out ahead of time allowing for the custom design time as detailed below.
-
Bespoke wedding stationery should be an unhurried, collaborative process.
For fully custom work, we recommend allowing around eight weeks to ten weeks from the beginning of design to final delivery.
This time allows for creative exploration, thoughtful refinement, and the rhythm of making something entirely your own that feels considered.
-
We work with a considered selection of print methods and hand-finished details, chosen for their beauty, tactility, and longevity.
Print offers a clean, refined finish, ideal for illustration and contemporary typography.
Letterpress gently presses the design into the paper with a coloured ink, leaving a soft impression you can feel.
Embossing raises elements from the surface for subtle dimension and quiet drama. Debossing presses elements into the card for a subtle texture. Both finishes have no colour apart from that of the cardstock/paper.
Foiling applies metallic or pigmented foil with heat and pressure, catching the light in a way that feels both modern and timeless.
Each finish is carefully selected to suit the paper, palette, and mood of your celebration.
-
We ship worldwide, with all orders sent fully tracked and insured.
We recommend allowing generous time for shipping, particularly for international orders, to ensure your stationery arrives calmly and without rush.
Please note:
Customs and import fees are set by local authorities and are the responsibility of the recipient.
Most European deliveries incur import charges on the cost of goods, payable on receipt.
As of January 2026, shipments to the United States may have customs fees applied at checkout allowing LEP to charge this upfront to clients, allowing parcels to move more smoothly through customs.

Custom stationery is designed for the couple who really care about the details, the textures and artistry that goes into creating something bespoke.
Investment is dependant on the final number of invites, number of components within the suite, production methods and finishing.
Typical investment for a fully bespoke invitation suite is from £3000 ($4000).
-
Every project is approached individually. We are always happy to consider invitation-only commissions depending on the specification and timeline. If your plans are still forming, we encourage you to get in touch and begin the conversation.
-
Yes. We offer both semi-custom designs, adapted from existing collections, and fully bespoke stationery, created entirely from scratch.
We’ll guide you toward the approach that best reflects your story, timing, and vision.
-
Of course. Gentle guidance on wording, layout, and etiquette is woven into the design process, ensuring your stationery feels graceful, confident, and effortless.
-
Paper is at the heart of everything we create.
We work with some of the finest papers in the industry, including Colorplan, Fedrigoni, Gmund, and a small selection of handmade and artisanal papers chosen for their texture, weight, and character.
A carefully curated palette of cardstock and envelope shades is available, ranging from soft neutrals to deeper, moodier tones.
Because paper is a tactile experience, samples can be requested where appropriate to help guide your decisions.
-
Printed colour is inherently different from digital colour.
Colours may appear differently on screen depending on device, lighting, and settings, and subtle variations can occur during printing due to paper choice and print method. These variations are considered part of the craft of fine stationery and a trust in the process and designer is part of a bespoke offering.
On occasion, a particular paper or envelope shade may become unavailable. If this happens, we will always advise you and suggest the closest possible alternative, ensuring the overall aesthetic remains cohesive and considered.
-
